National Art Gallery of Athens SNF

National Art Gallery – Alexandros Soutzos Museum was established in 1900 and is an Art Museum devoted to Greek and European art. The expansion of the new wing will allow the display of more than 1,000 exhibits. The project was symbolically attributed on 24^th March 2021, signaling the beginning of national celebrations for the 200^th anniversary of the Greek Revolution. The Greek Art of the 19^th and 20^th century, which is hosted in the rooms of the new National Gallery, is evolving in parallel with the History of free Greece and the creation of the Greek nation.
